Classical meets jazz in this rediscovery of gospel and spiritual favorites.

Voices and rhythm come together for an evening of classical choral music influenced by the sounds of gospel, spirituals, and jazz. Featuring the Helbing Jazz Initiative led by Stockton Helbing, the program includes Bob Chilcott’s A Little Jazz Mass, Shakespeare songs by Rutter and Shearing, and works by Powell, Antognini, Kirchner and more!
